Musician Tom Shear [Assemblage 23, Nerve Filter, Surveillance] and vocalist Mari Kattman [Day Twelve, Mari and the Ghost, Mari Kattman] are no strangers to collaboration, having worked together several times over the past five years. So it seemed to be a natural conclusion that the duo embark on a project all their own. The result is Helix – a genre-defying sonic tapestry mixing electronics and organic elements with Kattman’s haunting vocal harmonies. Elements of trip-hop, dub, dream pop, synth-pop, and lofi combine into a mélange of seductive beats, found sounds, eerie textures, and distant melodies cutting through the fog like a distant lighthouse. Beats for sleepwalkers and insomniacs. Cinema for your ears at 2 AM.

Waveformless Soundware is proud to announce our third product: Encompass for Spectrasonics Omnisphere. True to its name, Encompass covers a wide range of sonic territory from convincing vintage and eighties synths, to punchy synth basses, to cinematic pads, to warped textures, to pulsing gates, to soaring arps, and even electronic drums. A common complaint we hear about the presets that ship with Omnisphere is that a lot of them sound amazing, but are hard to actually use in a full arrangement. Encompass was programmed with this in mind, aiming to provide sounds you'll actually want to use in your songs. And speaking of programming, the mod wheel modulates something on every patch allowing you to transform the sounds as you play. 128 sounds in all again available for the amazing price of only $9.99!
In the demos below, everything you hear is coming from Waveformless Omnisphere Encompass, even the drums. All effects are coming from Omnisphere with only some mastering effects on the full mix.
Please note that you must own a copy of Omnisphere t make use of these sounds.
Waveformless Soundware is thrilled to announce our latest sound-set, this one foru-he's formidable DIVA synth. DIVA has received accolades left and right for her uncanny ability to produce incredibly-convincing vintage synth emulations. With that in mind, DIVA Prima is aimed at feeding your synth with the expressive, useful sounds she craves. (Is it weird I'm referring to a synth as a she? Screw it, I'm rolling with it...)
DIVA Prima is a testiment to the flexibilty of u-he's creation. Chunky Minimoog basses, Kraftwerkian synth percussion and drums, raspy mono-leads, lush Solina-like synth strings, massive, Jupiter-esque pads, delicate, glassy plucks, and even digital, FM-type sounds. On top of that, we've included some sound-alike patches. Need the resonant synth sound from Yaz's "Only You"? We've got it here. Need the famous Yamaha TX81Z "Latelybass" preset? We've got a pretty convincing version of that, too. Gary Numan-esque strings? Gotcha covered. But we don't stop there. Amidst all of the beautiful sounds are their ugly cousins, using crossmod, filter FM, and other unusual techniques to give you startlingly original and edgy sounds sure to stand out in a mix.
As per our usual standard, sounds are deeply programmed with almost all of them having a modulation or two mapped to them for even more expressive playing. Oh, and in addition to the 128 awesome sounds you already get? We threw in an extra "INIT" type patch for free to act as a starting point for your own sonic creations. So what have you got to lose? Only $9.99 for 128 awesome sounds?
Audio demos: everything you hear is coming straight out of DIVA, using only the internal effects. Some light mastering effects added to entire file.
Please note you must own a copy of u-he's DIVA synth to make use of these sounds.
Brand new from Waveformless Soundware is the SEM-V Expanse soundset for Arturia's awesome Oberheim SEM-V soft synth! 128 brand new patches that skirt the line between total retro and futuristic sounds. All the expected types of sounds are here - punchy basses, searing leads, warm pads, intricate arps - but we don't stop there! We take the SEM-V beyond the expected and deliver unusual sounds... a metallic koto, modular-type synth sounds, a piano. This is a soundset that truly takes the SEM-V into new territories!
In the demos below, everything is coming straight out of SEM-V using only the internal effects. Only the drum sounds are not coming from SEM-V (except for Endless Rain where SEM-V provides the drums). Mastering effects applied to final output.
Please note that you must own a copy of Arturia's SEM-V in order to make use of these sounds.
Starting out as a well-respected creator of freeware plug-in effects and instruments for Mac and PC, Togu Audio Line decided to try their hand at a commercial synth. Their first commercial release was TAL U-NO-LX, an impressively spot-on emulation of the venerable Roland Juno-60. Although a relatively simple synth by modern standards, the Juno-60 was surprisingly versatile and can be heard on countless records from the 80's and beyond. Waveformless Soundware's latest release tackles the TAL U-NO-LX with 128 brand spanking new patches pushing the synth to its limits. The Juno's famously chunky basses, fat leads, lush synth strings and pads, and quirky synths are all here in abundance, while other patches have a more modern, current touch pushing the U-NO-LX into new territory. Sounds perfect for classic house, techno, synth-pop, outrun electro, and any style that needs a touch of the 80's or just a bunch of extremely useful, workhorse synth sounds. If you're looking for the final word in patches for U-NO-LX, look no further.
[Requires version 2.50 of TAL U-NO-LX]
Because TAL U-NO-LX has no built-in effects aside from the killer chorus, some light reverb courtesy of Valhalla's amazing Vintage Verb reverb, and delay from Logic's built-on Delay plug are used as a bus effect in spots. The entire mix also has some light limiting courtesy of Fabfilter's Pro L Limiter.
Please note that you must own a copy of TAL's UN-O-LX2 in order to make use of these sounds.
